Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains how Lintel Events Ltd (“Lintel”, “we”) collects and uses personal data through this website. We are the data controller for that information.
Company number 17364882, registered in England and Wales at 37 Beechwood Avenue, Frome, England, BA11 2AY. Questions about this policy, or about your data, go to info@lintelevents.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiries. If you use the enquiry form, or email or call us using the details on this site, we hold whatever you send us: your name, contact details, organisation and anything you tell us about your event.
- Event Tech Health Check. If you complete the health check on our Work page and choose to submit your email address, we collect that address together with your score.
We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking on this site.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to you and discuss possible work. Our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about our services.
- To send you your health check results and related follow-up. Your consent, given when you submit your email address. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing us.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of third-party services to run this site. Each acts as a processor on our behalf, or as a controller in its own right where indicated:
- MailerLite stores email addresses submitted through the health check and sends the follow-up email.
- Netlify hosts this website, receives enquiry form and health check submissions and forwards them to us by email, and processes server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser requests these files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become work: two years from our last contact, in case you come back to us, then deleted.
- Client records (contracts, correspondence, invoices): six years after the end of the working relationship. We are required to keep business and tax records for six years, and that is also the period in which a contract claim can be brought.
- Health check email addresses: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict that use. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@lintelevents.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
